So I am leaving Kieden's personality much the same as before. He is (was) a highschooler, so he is allowed to think too much! Rusty is slightly older and is too embarrassed to think as much as Kieden. Yes, I am holding out on offering too much background information, but I have left hints (in which I pretend I am a good writer who knows how to drop hints)! Fragmented timelines are fun. :>

LJ is being a butt, so rant from the first post here:
FC's an episodic anthology type story, and I've written a couple of shorts. I-I guess I can share them here? It'll be a mess of different media--comic pages to children's book pages to just plain drabbles. I'll probably make a Blogspot for it or something OR CODE MY OWN (if I ever find a server to leech off of). Welp, I LIKE TO PRETEND I CAN ACTUALLY WRITE. 8Db

Right before I took a nap, I started planning the BotL battle system. Then I dreamed it in action. It's like FFT crossed with the FF ATB system. It's weird. But it looks fun! But holy crap, the AI is going to be SO HARD to code. Time + Placement + "fast enough at making decisions to be challenging" + "please don't eat up the player's RAM" = OHGOD. W-well, the RAM part would be because there'd be too many things to keep track of, including the player's characters... It'd either be totally laggy or computer crashy. None of which is cool.

Yeah. Anyway.

False Cycle (formerly Winter Before Spring): Modern, postmodern literature/ war literature

Imagination Fall: Modern philosophy, some modern, postmodern literature

Tried Novelties (formerly Of Yours and Mine): Engineering, math, science, economics, fairytale, gothic literature

"The Vendor and the Runaway": Early 1900s Asian civilization, fairytale literature

Some of these combinations are just nuts. Like Tried Novelties. Just thought I'd put this together once I realized that Imagination Fall was morphing into a philosophy paper in comic form. Phenomenology! Imagination or truth! What death entails! METAPHYSICS. Blah blah blah. Well, you write what you like and I guess like too much. :|a This also means I have a looot of research ahead of me.

I could go into further detail of things I'm unabashedly plugging into my stories, but since the majority of these stories aren't fully fleshed out and are just skeleton frames atm, I probably shouldn't. Like BotL (lulz, BOTTLE--yes I chose that title partly for its acronym). You would laugh if I told you that I pulled stuff from the American government's structure and...well, I used it somewhere you probably wouldn't think to see it used. I THINK OUR GOVERNMENT SYSTEM IS KINDA COOL OK.
