keykLet's divide this by topic, shall we?
asdfghjkl;!! I'm so sore after today's violin lesson. D: W-well, it looks like we're going to start the other two strings plus THE LOW E. DUN DUN DUN. He pointed out my flaws, one of which was not having the bow perpendicular to the violin, and how it wasn't in the middle, but I knew that. Also, he told me to start playing in the middle of the bow so that I would have enough room to play notes for extended periods of time. I'm holding the bow pretty well, and he says I have pretty good control. We all know how suspicious I am of compliments though, hahaha. He told me I was his best beginner, but then I start thinking, "Well, you do teach kids for the most part. ._.;" I'm so sore, AAAHH. By the time we started playing the low E, my hand was shaking since my shoulder hurt so badly. DX My big, fat textbooks will be my scapegoat for that one. TwT;Even if it's probably due to my lack of exercise. I'd better start stretching! He told me it was partly because my violin is kind of heavy and that holding it farther away makes it worse, and then my bro is all "force times distance! 8D" .......D| PHYSICS NERD. My mom just asked me "DO YOU WANT TO QUIT NOW?" And I'm all," NO. 8D" This is much less about proving myself than my wanting to enjoy something. I hope I can go to a voice-acting workshop over the summer~
Our private original character roleplay has.....kinda....died. I thought it needed a world change, and HEY, our (Pompi's and mine) 1930's Los Angeles AU needs some development, so WHY NOT? This has been in development for awhile. I'm in charge of story, and I'm stuck in a rut, especially since I'm not sure what my sis's characters' jobs are. All we know is that Locke and OLIVEEERRR *shot* are going to be the main characters. Even side characters need their time to shine! As the mod along with my sis, our characters are scattered everywhere, and depending on where the players go, they'll inevitably meet up with at least one of us. This way, I don't have to develop characters that have already been pasted into panels. I hope...this will help push the roleplay along. We've had several dead periods now, which is fine, but that means we need more characters. It's only four people right now, and that amounts to several characters. Again, if anyone is interested, we can talk! It's been pretty lame for awhile, but here's the link.
CONCLUSION THAT WOULD BE TERRIBLE IF THIS WERE AN ESSAY BECAUSE IT DOESN'T CONCLUDE ANYTHING AT ALL:
I want to draw, but again, I have massive amounts of schoolwork for the week and this weekend. I think I'll distract myself until lunch.
I've also learned that I may as well go into the medical field. I'll probably pursue my interests as a side thing since most of my interests don't have jobs I'd really enjoy. I do like cells though, so maybe hematology? I'd go into the same job as my parents, which doesn't sound TOO bad....as long as I'm not the one drawing the blood. HAHA, O-CHEM OH GOSH I'LL DIE. |D
