Ape Escape cartoon trailer?!

SERIOUSLY. I AM EXCITED. I actually LIKED Fairly Odd Parents! I am looking forward to this, you have no idea.

Ape Escape? MY CHILDHOOD.
The stuff that plays at the start menu of the game? This is it! Just bask in its AWESOMENESS. Specter is awesome!

Yeah, yeah, so Specter isn't the pretty li'l evil genius ape on a flying chair that I adored in the original PSX game, and Spike (if it even IS Spike...he looks more like Jimmy) isn't very...spiky, and Natalie (again, assuming that it IS her) seems to have lost her big braids, and I guess Jake (blue haired kid) doesn't exist, neither does cute li'l Casi, but at least the Professor does. Too bad the apes probably won't be armed with big humongo machine guns or laser guns (well, maybe the laser ones) or throwing bombs at you, but they sure look darned amusing! And the "UKI!"'s are pretty darn cute, you gotta admit.

Actually semi-spoilery..? But it was bound to happen at some point. I remember actually being HAPPY when this happened. Total gay moment with a jealous Specter at the end, but you know what? IT WAS AWESOME.

Pokemon and now this (again?)?! My childhood is returning to me...<33 I should get a move on and rewatch Season 01 and 03 of Digimon (I rewatched 02 some time last year)!

I hope they do a good job with Ape Escape! I can't say I'm expecting a walk down memory lane, but I hope I'll be amused by it!

As for the newer games (they actually keep changing actors, but THIS ONE HAHA)...
Specter is.... VOICED BY CRISPIN FREEMAN. And Natalie's Wendee Lee...? Y-yeah, new and better voices (Spike sounds so much kiddier, haha). B-but....PFFFFT.
Jake?!....Derek Stephen Prince. HAHAHA. A-awesome.

There is, but it's only mildly amusing (that one where Spike wears a skirt and Jake hits on him was pretty awesome though), and the romance feels very out of place. I have to use my terribly mediocre Japanese skills to watch it since only, what, two episodes were subbed? XD; It is really cute though! And Specter uses a sword in it! *shot*

I can't wait for the Ape Escape cartoons, too! =D And yes, that's actually Jimmy and Natalie in the trailer. Too bad Spike isn't in it (he's my favorite human character), but Specter and the monkeys sure do look adorable!

PSX Ape Escape nostalgia! The first game is definitely my favorite out of all the others. =3

Aaw, no Spike? I'm surprised they're using Jimmy of all people! I hope the others will at least make cameo appearances. Specter lost his pretty-boy (weird to think of that with an ape) appearance, but I still think it looks downright awesome. I loved the "I'M ON TO YOU SPECTERRR" part. |Db

To be honest, I've only played the first one. ^^;; Even though the difficulty level may have dropped in the others, I still want to play them. I want to replay it, AAAAAH.

HAHAHA, I love Specter's voice! It's a huge difference from the whiny voice in the American version. The Professors sound the really similar though. XD Thanks for showing me this!

I think that Jimmy is more "Nicktoons" material compared to the other Ape Escape characters. Kei and Yumi are more on the anime side, and Spike's personality is too cool, with a lack of a better term. ^^;;

I agree, Frederator Specter lost some of his "hotness" factor (he seems a little more maniacal, haha), but I still love him. XD
On the other hand, Japanese Specter is deliciously evil. 8D

Oh, you should play the other games! Nothing beats catching crazy monkeys bent on ruling the world!

A DVR is a Digital Video Recorder, and there are lots of kinds around (including ones that record onto a DVD).
Mine is in a satellite receiver, and I recently found out that my model has no computer connectivity whatsoever. Argh. D=

I think Nick might show reruns on Sunday, but I'm not too sure. I haven't watched Nick for a very long time, so I don't know how they do things now. Ape Escape is basically going to be the only reason I'll be watching Nick. ^_^;;

I only started watching Nick to watch Avatar on those lazy summer days (it was amusing! XD), and that's how I discovered the reruns. I hope they do do reruns! It'll totally be the only reason I'LL watch Nick, too. |D
