VIOLINS <3

keykI've loved violins FOREVER. I've wanted to play one ever since I heard a terribly played "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" during the talent show when I was in kindergarten (seriously). Being the silly kid I was, I felt that the fellow kindergartner wasn't doing the violin justice, and I was all I WANT TO PLAY BETTERRRR. XDD;; True story.
THIS IS AMAZING.
If I'm not mistaken, that IS an electric violin he's playing, right? I can't tell the difference between the two when I hear them. XDD;;;;
I like jazz a lot. Classical is awesome, too. Videogame music is also fun~ I...REALLY REALLY want to play the violin. My mother doesn't want me to. She said something along the lines of "You can't even hold it properly, so you shouldn't learn to play it.".......... Okaaaay, you want me to sing later on in my life, but you're against my playing the violin because RIGHT NOW, I'm really bad at it? Um, what do you think CLASSES are for?
That really ticked me off. But I really want to play, so I'm going to attempt to PROVE HER WRONG. I CAN and WILL learn to play this, just you watch. (This sounds like the time I told them I wanted to act, but they still laughed at me in the end. :/) For now, I'll slowly teach myself to hold the violin properly (sadly, I have no shoulder rest), apply rosin properly, and learn note placement. Right now, I'm playing by ear, so I think I'll ask the teacher to teach me using the Suzuki Method if he can. I know HOW to read notes, I just can't very well. I also need help with rhythm. XDD;; I love music, and I would love to play the clarinet, the viola, and the cello, and a few other wind instruments. I wouldn't mind learning to play the harp or the accordion either! I should sharpen my piano skills, but for some reason, I find the piano pretty difficult. Singing's great, too, but I wish I had some voice training. I wanna widen my vocal range~<3
Aaah, I want classes so badly. Playing the violin (badly) helps me relieve stress, too. I LOVE IT. Still not something I'd like to do for a living, but on the side music is great. It's just like how I don't want to act for a living, but for fun (will I have no leisure time when I'm older, I wonder?). I love art, I really do. I wouldn't mind trying dancing if my balance didn't suck so much. XDD; Oh yeah, someone popped out of the door and scared me, and then the heavy bag on my back pulled me down and I fell on my bottom. That was today. It was funny. XD I also have the amazing ability to trip on air, yup.
