If ANY of you can name every single character I drew here, I would be utterly shocked. Because I am nearly 100% sure you can't, here be the list in no particular respective order: RO soul linker, RO ninja, RO priest, Jack Russell from Radiata, Zidane from FFIX, Vivi from FFIX, Mercedes from Odin Sphere, Malchut from Zektbach, Razzly from Chrono Cross, and Max from Dark Cloud (or Dark Chronicle for you non N. Americans). The girls' poses are largely the same. XDD;; Hahaha...I am obviously very creative.
Ok. Ok. Now for shameless twit-ing. TL;DR to the max.
I really like the soul linker design, so as you may or may not tell, I put more effort on that one than any of the other RO things. Yeeeaaah, OBVIOUSLY I spent a lot of effort on that priest. And I didn't feel bothered to fix the ninja's pose either (this goes for a lot more than just the ninja though). >>;; I still can't connect to RO atm, which kinda bothers me, but another chunk of me is all WHEW, THANK GOD. So I'm not going to try to fix it. It's not like I understand the computer and all its connection stuff very well anyway (this coming from someone who wants to be a CCS engineer. I know.).
Jack Russell! Is impossibly cute. I never thought I'd like him. I spent the whole beginning (I watched my sister finish it because I couldn't handle it OTL) facepalming at Jack, but the airhead somehow manages to be the one who throws all the smart aleck-y comments and somehow makes people look stupid. It's...amazing. And I warmed up to him. Even though he's an idiot and you spend a lot of time going WHAT on the things he chooses to do. I love his faces too--they crack me up so hard. I know would have liked Radiata a lot more if I'd played it as a kid. :( It really would've been a nice kid's game. There are so many glaring flaws to that game though when I look at it now...but because I know I'd have liked it when I was younger, I feel attached to it somehow? My not playing it through notwithstanding? Oh, and the music's a blast. I usually dislike Iwadare's stuff, but THIS game. Just. WOW. But then again I have an awful jazz bias.
Zidane! FFIX is my favorite sequential FF. VIVI. Vivi is the most adorable thing in the history of video games. He goes "Gee whiz!" and "Um...... Y-yeah... But... But I have to... I have to find out who I am... I'm scared... What if I'm not even human...?" He is the saddest and cutest and strongest thing. Oh! Zidane. I really do like him as a main character. I like the usually optimistic RPG heroes it looks; I have a hard time liking emo heroes (Odin Sphere is the first exception I can think of). He is such a nice hero, too. ;_; I love Zidane's and Vivi's interactions with each other.
And Mercedes is still my favorite character out of all of Odin Sphere. I didn't do her wings justice, and it looks like I forget to color in her cute poofy shorts. :x I didn't think I'd warm up to her either, but I did. I love how she grows through the game. T^T Oh, oh, and that's a frog that's really awesome in her arms. 8I That game breaks my heart. And my hand. Gosh. If I had a dime for every time I died in that game...
Chrono Cross. RAZZLY. I could not stand not having Razzly not in my party. She is TOO ADORABLE. She's a puny little fairy who floats about with a cute cape tied about her back that is so medieval-fairy-tale looking and adorable. The battle between the fairies and the dwarves at the water dragon's place is like....the whole story of Radiata. XD;; Or at least that's what it felt like. Ugh, but the time limit for that section. Every time Rosetta was dead by the end of it, I felt so guilty and I just HAD to restart and do the thing over again. >>;; I just realized I forgot the pompoms on her cute li'l shoes. TDT;
I've made it pretty clear that I like fairies. :( I really like the fairies in Radiata, too, hahaha... I prefer the "cute" fairies over the "pretty pretty" ones though. Let's move on to Malchut who no one here knows anything about. She (well she's at least designed to look female) was one of those sacrifices for the BALANCE OF THE WORLD that got saved by some chivalrous kid and so ruined the balance. Taken to a new place to live, now has to set the balance again somehow, yadda yadda... BUT YOU KNOW WHAT. She's cool. The Epic of Zektbach is a really odd mix of sci-fi and medieval folklore but it's captured my attention. And so has Malchut because she strikes me as different from a typical bard's epic character.
Max! Dark Cloud 2 is a pretty under-appreciated game. I admit I'm not the biggest fan of dungeon crawling, but it wasn't THAT BAD (although I still haven't finished it for this reason). I love how happy happy Max is. Typical orphaned kid, but he's so HAPPY I love the guy. XD; Well, he gets kinda upset when his inventions don't work. He's adorable. And Monica's pretty awesome, too. Everyone here is from some colorful, cute game with dark undertones, I swear. ^^;; ...er, but The Epic of Zektbach's not a game, but 1/10, close enough.
Charming things are charming and cute fairies are adorable. :) I don't usually try to draw cute things because my stories and characters usually don't fall into that category. But it's not like I don't like cute things! D: So here is some evidence of my liking cute things. And drawing it.

I have plowed through about six Roald Dahl books in the span of two days. I read Fantastic Mr. Fox for about the millionth time. I've loved that book since forever. I am hooked on his stuff. I'm not sold on all of his books, but but. His narration. <33
