Apr. 9th, 2009 09:58 pmWent and did more self-personality analysis via Myers-Briggs tests and results. I got INTP again, but I read about it, and a lot of it just doesn't match. That's the same way I felt with ISTP and INTJ and INFP, which are other results I've received in the past. I did research into other types and found one that seemed to really match. I'm not too sure about my acting on my values a lot, but I suppose I've been acting more as of late. I've certainly been bothered by my not being able to in the past. And now, I did challenge myself with acting (which I wanted to do when I was three) and got my parents to let me play the violin, whom were a pain to convince, let me tell you.
What personality type?
This type would be INFJ.

"But the INFJ is as genuinely warm as they are complex. INFJs hold a special place in the heart of people who they are close to, who are able to see their special gifts and depth of caring. INFJs are concerned for people's feelings, and try to be gentle to avoid hurting anyone. They are very sensitive to conflict, and cannot tolerate it very well. Situations which are charged with conflict may drive the normally peaceful INFJ into a state of agitation or charged anger. They may tend to internalize conflict into their bodies, and experience health problems when under a lot of stress." This part convinced me quite a bit.

"Generally well-liked by their peers, they may often be considered close friends and confidants by most other types. However, they are guarded in expressing their own feelings, especially to new people, and so tend to establish close relationships slowly. INFJs tend to be easily hurt, though they may not reveal this except to their closest companions. INFJs may 'silently withdraw as a way of setting limits,' rather than expressing their wounded feelings—a behavior that may leave others confused and upset." This sounds like me, I think.
I've been feeling sick lately, and I've been just shutting away people who are asking me what's wrong, which is irritating them, haha. Emotional problems make up a lot of the reason for my sickness. My lack of being close to any of my high school friends may be attributed to my personality. My want to fight against my parent's ideals may also be attributed to this. I'm sure a lot of you know I'm easily hurt, but too afraid to show it. At school, I can tell when the teacher or a student is really agitated or depressed or something. I can't learn in a class where a teacher is stressed--it's almost suffocating for me.
Since most of you have known me much longer than anyone else (aside from my immediate family), do you think this type matches me? Trust me; if you've taken the time to read at least five of my emo entries, you have a better idea than most others about my life. I can never get this result on those personality tests (not that those are the most accurate things in the world), but I do feel like this is closest to my actual personality.

S-sorry for the inbox spam.
Date: 2009-04-11 10:20 pm (UTC)Further research says that I have some traits of ISFJ, but it seems the S isn't really me. It looks what I'm mostly split on is T and F. I feel like I do both. ^^; P and J is another one. I think the reason I keep getting P is because I keep saying I like things to be open, but that might just be because I set too many limits on myself. I might like having some limits, but right now, I wish I didn't. INFJ still seems closest so far.
I keep deleting, I'm so sorry. TT;;;;

So my enneagram type seems to be 5w4, which makes sense, I guess, but somehow I think a 6 could work as my wing, too, but I guess 4 would be better. I'm like a pole away from yours. XDD;
