...................
I got the solo part. And the choir teacher said she'd hunt me down every time we have choir practice. She is shocked that I can sing. A lot of people are considering how my normal talking voice sounds.

Errr...I suppose that means she likes my voice...? No, lemme make that more definite: she did like it. I still think it sounds weird, and am deathly afraid to find out what it sounds like on a microphone, oh dear. They were caught between choosing me and another junior to do the solo. The other people who tried out were not called back. And then we had to wait about thirty minutes when she finally narrowed it down to us two. I normally don't like nasal singers, but the one I was competing with made it sound really good, and I was all, whoa. It's mostly because of the amount of feeling she put into it, and her voice is firm and strong, and it was nice. She's going to be intoning the "Gloria" instead (since the teacher liked her voice so much) while I solo a verse to the song I tried out for, and sing the bridge together with a senior (that thing goes HIGH, so I crack sometimes, uy). Hope I don't mess up the day I need to sing it. Hahaha, at least I don't have to do the alto part for that song anymore. I kept messing it up in that song, after all.
