keykI'm really upset about my fish right now. Their names are Fish 1, Fish 2, and Pleco according to my sister.o_O; Let's call them Benny, Chris and Pablo!XD; ...strange what random names appear in my head.o_O;
Anyway, my big goldfish got sick. It has an infection on the lip, it's turned from gold to white, and it's gotten a bloated stomach thing. Well, with the advice my sister learned from her experiment in school and Jeff's researching skills, we believe it's a parasite. So! We have to look for salt.
Well, so we searched. We learned that...we had iodized salt!...no good. Iodine would kill all 3 fish. We need either water softener, Epson salts, sea salt, aquarium salt, or table salt. It's 11:30 PM here in the west so we can't go buy it now. Oh yeah, our Pleco is quite violent and enjoys sucking on our poor, sick goldfish. Especially now since it's weak and vulnerable and sick. So, in instinct, he's out to kill. I so pity them.@_@;
With my lack of knowledge and Jeff's and Pompi's abundance of knowledge, we hope to buy salts tomorrow. It's all on the poor goldfish. He better live!!!@____________@ Wish her (just found out she was a female o_O;) luck, please. ; ___ ; She's been here since my 1st grade school year (or before that, I don't remember. I know it's not after...), and I'm in the 8th grade now--13 years old. >_< Please wish our poor fish luck! *hugs tank*; o ; And hope the pleco stops trying to kill the fish.u__u

Date: 2005-09-08 11:49 pm (UTC)Hehe... he's not out to kill... his actions may end up killing em... The pleco likes to eat slimy coating on the fish, which may result in flesh wounds, which then may result in bacterial infections, and then death.
Fish are weird... heh
hope it's not too late for the fish... I actually think K was in kindergarten... I won him or her (XD;) at some game where you throw a ball into a big thing of bowls and try to get it in one of em. I won two goldfish, one of which has died. And that was back in 1998. o.o
