Yaaay! I'm defining variables and writing math problem programs! Yaay! I'm also trying to figure out how I like to organize my code. This is probably the only time my little HTML experience helps. Even then, it hardly does. But that's expected!
I'm kinda pacing myself a bit too slowly though. My goal is to hit and go through a chunk of programming regarding lists by the end of thisawful semester. Ah, computer languages. Speaking of languages, I didn't do any Japanese this weekend. Whoops.
Muramasa is a fun game, but...I feel like it's too easy on Musou mode. I mean...Kisuke never died throughout his story. Almost, but not quite. That's a big jump from my Odin Sphere experience. Hmm, maybe I should try Shura mode after all and die plenty. Dang it, nonexistent middle ground!
While I'm in love with the backgrounds and exploration and setting, I like Odin Sphere a lot more overall. I finished Kisuke's first route and. and. I. What? What? I mean, seriously--what--WHAT?! Is all I can say. Hopefully Momohime's is less what-y, haha. The images also seem to be of lower quality than Odin Sphere's, but I'd wager that was to solve the lag problem or to fit the game to the Wii's capabilities. The lag problem wasn't completely erased though, so they're obviously pushing the system pretty hard.
The translations of the game feel kind of off...the girls don't speak with that formal air they sound like they have. Jinkuro sometimes sounds more respectful with the way he's written, even though his speech pattern doesn't sound respectful at all. I can tell they had a sucky budget though, so it's hard to blame them. It's still a fun game though; I enjoy it, but for story and characters, it's really lacking. Ah, well!
