keykWhat sucks about having a sucky vocab is how difficult it is to make things sound right in an essay. I'm weird and words look like curvy little lines sometimes (noo it shouldn't circle that word like that--conneeect dangit), and often, they won't connect nicely. I like my sentences to be flowy and short, or long if it's interesting enough. I hit a wall. Like. RIGHT NOW. FFFF. Punchy openers that aren't disgustingly cheesy are dang difficult. YES I'M STILL ON THE FIRST SENTENCE. OTL; Suure, I have my outline. but. BUT. Pero mas mahirap pa mg sulat ng Tagalog, ahahaha. UGH. LANGUAGE SO DIFFICULT.
Some people say I'm good at simplifying when I write, but, uh, that's mostly my trying to get the same effect with kiddy words (for lack of any better) or just my trying to translate something I don't understand, which takes a good five, fifteen minutes to do PER SENTENCE, HAHA. >:I I read novels sometimes or even the occasional good fanfic (what I do too read them every now and then SOB), and I'm like, MAAAAN, where do they come up with this awesome phrasing?! THAT'S SUCH A GOOD ADVERB/ADJECTIVE. Like Lolita, for example. This thing is reeeaally, reeeaaaally well-written, even, if not especially, the super lewd descriptions of twelve year old girls (l-lol this book). And English is the author's second language! HE KNOWS FRENCH AND RUSSIAN TOO. Dang super-writers.
I'm only whining about the essay now since my parents told us today we're going to our uncle's and aunt's house to eat dinner tonight. WHEN DID THIS COME UP?! Aaaahhh. The hardest part about maintaining a schedule and getting work done when you want to is when things pop up in other people's schedule that only get to your ears when it's too late. FFFFF. Also, my reliance on motivation. If I'm going to get cut off in the middle of writing this thing, then I really don't want to work on it right now. So, yes, this first sentence does not want to get written. Poo.
