Sep. 2nd, 2006 04:05 pmLet's see...
Aa...why are such easy classes (save for HE1)such a freaking pain?
I did make it to friend's house the other day. ADV translations of Matantei Loki Ragnarok are HORRIBLE. "Pmeow"? Tell me what's wrong with "Punya". It'll take me awhile to get used to "Reya" instead of "Reiya" and "Heimdal"(or was this a typo?) instead of "Heimdall". I need more ChuangYi Loki and their abundance of grammatical errors and "Nordic mythology". Loki was among my first few scanslations. ;_; And it instantly made me interested in Norse myth, but the published English translations of it aren't that great. The visit was fun though. D: This is the first time I've gone to a friend's house alone. T_T; I'm amazed...
Dang my homework...let me beeeeeeeee~ *burns them* I have other stuff to do...;_;
EDIT: I uploaded my second (I have too much fun with this program...)lame animated GIF. :D; Thank you, pompi for telling me how to.
World Civilization, a class with a typical teacher, and a class whose lectures are easy to understand. It's amazing, seriously. My notebook will probably die before 2007 though.
Geometry, a class that's made of surprisingly simple sounding lectures and uses a book which has pretty much no information in it whatsoever. I regret not making it into the honors class. I thought I did well on the placement test too. *sigh*
Biology, my teacher cannot make LECTURES AT ALL. I'm surrounded by sophomores who refuse to allow the teacher to stay on topic. A supposed-to-be brief mention of a rabbit's camaflouge became the topic of the day. I don't need a teacher like this, I can just read the freaking book. Again, I'm upset that I didn't make it into honors.
Spanish I...I take nine years of Spanish and I'm kicked back into Spanish 1. I must terribly suck at placement tests. This class is too easy and boring and it makes my head melt. GAAAAAAAH...I don't want to learn the alphabet and numbers again!!! The teacher's nice though...but I think it would go to fast for someone who's just learning the language.
Theology, is fun. The person next to me refuses to keep quiet and complains when I don't respond, however. I feel uncomfortable talking in class, I'm not used to it at all. T_T; I'm not too happy about this journal response thing though. I've always hated doing journal entries. The teacher is amazingly understanding and nice though. It's kind of scary.
Honors English I...the one honors I DON'T want. I do not want to be restricted by certain writing standards and to analyze a book to death. I'm not all too fond of books, since the one's they assign from school are terribly crappy most of the time. My favorite book is Alice in Wonderland, sadly. D: Currently reading Catcher in the Rye only to find out we're going to analyze that to death too. But NOOO...the horror crap, the writing-till-you-pain-of-carpal-tunnel stuff, the this-book-must-be-analyzed-to-death, and other stuff....this class is a terrible class. >_>; It's the only honors class I have though, so I guess I should keep it. *sigh*
I get tired waaaay to easily nowadays. Headaches, stomach aches...currently drowning myself with food to make me happy...of course, it doesn't work. IF anything, I'm in more pain. I'm getting very little physical excercise...I just have to walk to class, unless I'm somehow late. If we somehow manage to get and finish Xenosaga 2, maybe I can play Xenosaga 3 to make me happy. >>;

Date: 2006-09-03 04:52 pm (UTC)That means you'll like college, though. You can do whatever you want, and it's your responsibility to learn the material. So if you want to doodle during class (or even skip it, depends on the teacher) and then read the book to learn it all afterwards, you're okay, as long as you can pass the tests with that. (I still recommend going to class though XD; )
I hope you can feel at least a little better very soon. ;_;
