Whatever programmed this dinky thing called Photostory...UGH. UGH. UGH. And WHY our school computers are missing so many plug-ins for Audacity and WHY our computers have a tendency to crash programs at will and BSOD us at random intervals is beyond me.

Also, that one group member failed to pop up today, and by Jove, it's due tomorrow! At the VERY LEAST, just tell us you won't be there! Aaagh. The other group member and I are really ticked off about it now, but I'm still letting the other do the scolding before she wins me away with her incessant complaints. I worked four hours straight on that thing today after school, and this one day extension was BARELY enough for me to get the crud done. The other group member stayed with me until 4:30, while I stuck around until a little past 6:00, at which time I was subsequently kicked out of the library for closing hours. And I wasn't done. I'm done now after adjusting the timing and the audio problems, but having Photostory on my computer just for this...ew. Me and group projects. Story of my life, man.

I'm watching a Victorian romance in one of my English classes, and it's. so. boring. I just don't care much for Victorian romances! I'll admit, I did think Pride and Prejudice was fun, but that's only because of how witty Elizabeth was, and while we're still talking romance, that was also the reason why I liked Much Ado About Nothing. But this. THIIIIS.

This is how I feel about it: This is much bigger than it needs to be.
My opinion can be seen at right. |D MS Paint, how I miss thee (and your lack of undos). Haha, the quality got really gross, but meh.

Even our sub, who's also an English teacher, was getting sleepy. XD;; I made a small, quiet groan about having to go through MORE romances in class, and the sub heard me and laughed. Haha. Much Ado About Nothing is the last romantic classic I read that I liked, but even then, it's a comedy, so...^^; Well, I guess Pride and Prejudice works, since that wasn't a comedy! I didn't care much for the films though, while everyone else seems to. XD;; But everyone seems to love The Titanic and The Notebook, while I certainly don't, so not caring for romantic films is not out of the norm. |DD

When romance takes over the plot, it often ends up dulling the characters, and I just can't stick with the story anymore! My romance-loving classmates make fun of me for that. XD And while they're fantasizing about some cute man or actor or whatever, I'll make snide comments about their brains' chemical processes and their stupid hormones (even though I technically have them; they point this out). It makes them so angry! But they get back at me by talking about fetuses or how fish have short memory spans, which make me angry. ^^; But fetuses aside, it's hilarious being an asexual in the middle of a bunch of romantic teenage girls.

Maybe I'll change, maybe I won't, but right now, it's fun. |D My friend claims that once I read A Streetcar Named Desire, I'll gain a sexuality, but she said that with Lolita and my admiration for Basil Rathbone, and she's upset it didn't happen. I'm obligated to refer any romantic problems I'll have in the future to these more experienced women though...or so they say. I've assured them that if I ever get a significant other, they will have plenty to make fun of. Right now I claim that my sexual preferences lie in fish 'cause they're more attractive than men. |D

It certainly helps to be in an all girls school. ^^; And a pro-feminist (not to the extreme, fortunately) one at that.

I'd be lying if I said I never liked cheesy romance, but purely romantic stories don't often win me over. |3 Ooh, that's so cool! I've watched a bad adaptation of The Glass Menagerie, but I'd love to watch A Streetcar Named Desire!...If but only to hear "STEEEELLAAAAAAAA!!!!" I might crack up and bother everyone around me though, oh no. XD;;; I'm a bad person to watch movies with. I ruin things. XDDD; Haha, yeah, I plan on teasing her about it after, but she does like it a lot, and she's a tough critic, so I'd like to see how good it really is! I hope the production turns out awesome. |D
