keykUgh. I didn't do so great on that calc quiz, but that's not too surprising. If only I had more time to thoroughly check my work. And if only she didn't pull off so many points for simple arithmetic errors. It's ok though! I got lots of Ds last semester and magically pulled out a B+ by the end, and this time I actually have As to cushion me, so I'll be ok! >:( I'll just...try to do better...next time. >>;; I have calc homework today even though I just had a quiz today, and I have no idea how to do it. DX
During the school newspaper meeting, I was typing up a chunk of CF. I wasn't slacking off or anything, it's just I'm the cartoonist, not one of the writers, so I only get told a few things, then I'm done for the day. But someone noticed that I was typing. And then she was all LEMME READ!!! DD8 And I was all AAAAAGH NOOOO. DDD'8 But she got me to let her read it. AND explain the plot. T__T;; Good grief, that was scary and embarrassing, and I still feel a bit icky from it. I hadn't even proofread it yet! Ahh, well, what's done is done. And speaking of CF...
I have this nagging feeling that I totally ripped the coat's design off of something. :/a It's actually an older design that I favored over a newer one, but, still, hm. Aaah, I seriously don't know what legs are. Anyway. Here's Knight, the former main character of CF, which was back when it was called Unbroken Bonds. I had a thing for hacker-type kids, so I made Knight, who was like one those military coordinators who work on computers all day. Speaking of guys who wage war on computers thousands of miles away, yeesh, reading up on this war stuff in my Lit of War class...yikes, that's so horrible. T__T; I can't even imagine.
But back to Knight. He still works with computers in CF, but he isn't so spunky and show-offy. He's more closed up in CF since many characters he was close to in UB (and CF, too, technically) are dead. XD;; And a lot of the drama concerning him in UB was carried over to CF since a lot of UB was merged into CF, so, yeah, he's a drama llama. :|b There's actually a story behind that coat that's too small for him. *ahem* Drama llama. *ahem* While he IS slightly older in CF than in UB, I kinda made him too...old here. Aack, my grasp on age is slipping. I made his name up in fourth grade just 'cause I thought it sounded cool, but when I was flipping through some name book, apparently it's a legitimate name! WHAAT?! XD;; Boy, was I shocked! Too bad Whistle and Crown aren't legitimate names though. ^^; Ahh, my naming-guys-after-objects phase.
I had to get the science project and the calc quiz out of my system. Ugh. I really shouldn't invest so much of myself in these things.
Also, SHIKI!!! YEEAAAHHH, IT'S NOT DEEN! 8DD I love Shiki for its art, so even while there are a few series from DEEN I like (Shion no Ou, Jigoku Shoujo seasons 1-2), I didn't want them to take another Fujiryu series since in terms of consistency and consistently good looking art...they suck. I liked Le Portrait de Petite Cossette, if I remember correctly...soooo THIS.♥♥ OH YEEAAAH.
