OK.
OOOK.
Well.
I...
tried out for a solo in choir today. While I sound better than I thought I would, it's, just, what. And yet what's worse is that I feel worse about joining the roleplay than doing this. Anyway. I got picked out to sing "Gloria" for a while, and my voice. cracked. UHH. Out of embarrassment I did start to cry, so I was all, "Uhh, heeey, can I use the bathroom? I mean, I'm kinda gross looking here." :D; Embarrassing. Really. That's not the solo part I tried out for. It was just an embarrassing point in my day. =3= I have a lot of difficulty remembering what notes we altos start on. Urk. First time attempting harmonizing!
I really want to be a part of the play our school is doing since it's by Moliere. I love his stuff--he's hilarious! But alas! I cannot! For I have much too much to do this darned friggin' year of death and why-the-heck-did-I-take-this-class nonsense.
Some Filipino guys started talking to me in Tagalog in a Goldilocks bakeshop. And I was all, oh snap. I answered their questions and offers to help me carry things mostly with an "OK lang po," which is just about the lamest response ever, and then at one point it was "Yung tatay ko," and at some points "Opo," etc. etc. Anyway, I don't know how bad I sounded as I know for a fact that I speak better than I write although I'm still pretty BAD, but it's over with. YAY.
Also! Le Chevalier D'Eon is an amazing anime! I want the boxset since it's a lot easier for me to grasp onto things when I can hear and understand what they're saying in other words I prefer the dub. Did you see that? A run-on! You can watch the two first eps of it on Funimation's site. The show really reminds me of FFT sometimes, except more French and moreRenaissance (or is it the Enlightenment?)(this is called Keyk being stupid--it's the French Revolution, haha) than Middle Ages. The main character really reminds me of Ramza. in so, so many ways. Some which I will not mention. Moving on. I read a chapter of the manga, which is totally different but still interesting and amazing! I am still amazed that the writer for the anime, manga, and the novels is the same person. Wow! Talk about creative!
Also, Firo in Baccano! has the most amazing Brooklyn accent ever. Also on Funimation.
And I have a biig APUSH test tomorrow, but I have a lot of homework, and it's now 7:50, and I need to sleep by 11:00 lest I pass out in class again. Fun times, really..
