I can't help but be slightly happy about this even if it is horror.

The Japanese website for Shueisha's upcoming Jump Square manga magazine has announced that artist Ryu Fujisaki (Hoshin Engi, Soul Hunter) will adapt the Shiki horror fantasy novels by Fuyumi Ono (The Twelve Kingdoms, Ghost Hunt) for a serialized manga that starts in the magazine's January 2008 issue (on sale December 4). That issue will be the second issue of the new magazine. Shiki revolves around an isolated mountain village, steeped in ancient traditions, whose population of 1,300 starts dying in droves due to mysterious causes. Source: Ultimatum

My sister showed it to me from this thing I don't know how to LJ link. I just like Fujiryu-sensei's stuff even if his style has gotten more generic. ^^; I watched Ghost Hunt with my sister, and the characters were really cool! If I get more spending money, I'd definitely buy Ghost Hunt, but be hesistant to read the areas that creep me out. ^^;;

Ahh, January. My birthday which also equals the first day of finals.
