(no subject)

Finished reading The Recipe for Gertrude. Still one of my most favorite shoujo manga (excluding josei, it probably IS my favorite) even if just for the fact NO ONE annoys me in there. I love strong main shoujo heroines, but I dislike it when they're jerks. I love Sahara and Gertrude (Gertrude's a man, yo!). ;__; The main guy here is pretty cool! And I love the side characters. I'm also a sucker for Nari Kusakawa's art. It's nowhere near perfect, but I love it. Her paneling's not great at all, but...I didn't mind rereading parts for some reason? I don't know. The story really isn't that great at all (that's not to say it was bad though), but I just loved the characters.

I also liked how the final volume was a bunch of side stories. Further development is yay! And it was cute.
