Understanding that I haven't been walking correctly since I've learned to and that I'm flat footed certainly explains a lot. For example, why I can't run fast, why walking is such a chore, why my rest position is really messed up, etc, etc. Whoo. More problems I'll have to fix, except this is a lot less deformity than it is YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG. I figured it out when I had so much difficulty doing any of the footwork we do in dance class, especially the walk in plie (sp?) and pointed feet, and hopping around, etc. No one's ever told me I was flat footed before, and I know it's come up in conversation before. :/

GEEZ, it hurts to walk correctly though. I'm not even sure I'm doing it right, but if I am, my leg has already adjusted itself to walk incorrectly, which explains a lot of leg jacking ups, too. Aah, mah knee. It died on me mid-plie today, ut no one noticed except me. XDD; I just came from the doctor, but I only thought of it AFTERWARDS. Oh, pooh. What kind of a doctor do you even need for this? I think I need physical therapy or something.

EDIT: PSsht, liars. Flat-footed-ness doesn't make me slower. OTL;;;
