Basil Rathbone, yay.
The idea that the art teacher WON'T accept my art is really bothering me at the moment. I decided to draw and hope I could make something at least halfway decent whilst neglecting piles of homework I'm ALREADY procrastinating on. (Need to practice!)
Basil Rathbone redraw attempt!
It is SO OFF, GAAAH. But halfway decent, I think I got. Some parts of the general sketch seem to match the reference image better than the second supposedly more detailed part and vice versa. My tendency to put the mouth extra low to compensate for my longer head shows here. Ack. I'm so sorry Mr. Rathbone. :(
I've got a long ways to go until I'm actually satisfied with what I can do. >:( This is just a photo copy, which is easier than observational drawing, and drawing from observation is what I have to do for Ryman! FFFFF! NGAAH! I'D BETTER GET ACCEPTED INTO RYMAN.
...I'm just cranky from lack of sleep guys. D| I guess I should try some speed draws when I'm bored or not doing anything else productive, hah.
